# Daylight: one-week team trial

For Jira teams that need approved hours for client billing or project reporting.

## Participants

## Before the week

- Install Daylight from the Atlassian Marketplace.
- Enable approvals and choose weekly submissions.
- Assign the approver and team members.
- Configure the rates and project settings you need to check.
- Log one test entry and check that it appears in Jira.

## During the week

- Log time against the issues you work on.
- Add a useful description to each entry.
- Review the weekly grid and correct missing or inaccurate entries.
- Record confusing steps or errors as they occur.

## At the end of the period

- Review and submit the timesheet.
- Have the separate approver review the hours.
- Return one period for correction, then submit it again.
- Approve the completed period.
- Export the report to CSV.
- Compare the hours and configured costs with expected totals.

## Trial terms and data

Daylight is free for Jira sites with up to 10 users.
Larger sites have the standard 30-day Marketplace trial.
Pricing follows your Jira site's user count.
Your native Jira worklogs remain if you uninstall Daylight.
Period locking applies within Daylight.
